about cars

Is a fact that cars are an important part of our society as we live it now. Many people are crazy about the desing and the mechanic of them as the history of them in time, we even have plays to hit the person right next to you when you see a certain tipe of car. 

I live next a principal street so I can hear cars and buses all night long and about six am I woke up just for the noise of people moving, so I get used to it but it is very uncomfortable when at 7 am they start being rude to each other. This is one of the things I really do not like about so many cars in the city, even sometimes people use their cars to move a block from they are.

I think we might be depending to much on cars sometimes, maybe not all population can develop this depending because of the money and ages (kids and old people can not drive them) but it is a fact that in all big cities we have cars to transport and that is, at least in Chile, a symbol of status. Maybe that is another thing that made us depend on cars, and obviously because they are the faster way to get anywhere most of the time, and if it is not is always the most comfortable.

Following this last ideas I think that they are a great invention as a toy and as a transport, very usefull for people who work until late, for when you have kids, have to carry around a lot of things or for people who travel a lot. Another great use of them are the creation of taxi services that now complement with cellphones technology to be safer than before. 

To conclude, I  think cars are a great invention but that we need to think in ways to use them better to save natural recourses and to make them not a problem, like the noise and screaming in the morning or evening, but a less complicated solution.

Is a real thing that we can not live without technology these days or at least it should be very difficult. In one day we use a cellphone, a tv, computers, and machines for everything: coffe, papers, food and to pay all that things. A impressive thing of the week in fact is that the new Metro line has no driver or cashier so if they do not have securuty people you do not see people working in there.

A lot of people love the fact that there are not people working there mainly because is faster to charge the Bip card. Is well known that people are slower than machines and that they make less mistakes. Another reason because we use a lot of this machines or smart stuff is because they made our lives much more easy and even fun, for example when I am in home and remember a had to read a text that i do not have in paper, most of the time I can download it and have it in seconds in my coputer or IPad and even in my cellphone so I can read it anywhere. And when you are bored in a space where is nothing to do you can be on social media and comunicate when people or see videos, bacause it is like the principal reason we use tecnology now is not for the original reason.

In contrast we have to fight to the web sites that somethimes are the only way to ask for an appoinment o change your information of pages of the goverment. This last one is a real problem to old people because most of them do not know how to use computers or advanced technology and the goverment most of the time ask to people to enter a web site to do paper work that you used to do in an office. Here we can see another problem: people are getting without their jobs because of the machines that replace them, and it is something that we used to read when kids as science fiction but now is real. Maybe this is going much more fast that we can and is definetly making changes in the society, for example kids get home from school and the lock inside computers and video games and is well known that it contribute to health problems, a thing that was unusual even when we were kids.

I apreciate more the technology that con be use for only one or two propouses, like washes machines. Maybe if we get too into the not really nesessary technology things we can lose our mind, like we do on Facebook. Also we need to apreciate the work for the people and not try to replace it because it can be bad used.

In conclude, we need technology, is not bad to create things that make our lifes easier but we need to think in how it can and will be used, the people that will be afected and try to think on all de consecuences.

“pollution is a problem that people are becoming increasingly aware of”

Many things contribute to pollution; it is made not only for smog but also the release of the trees on spring. Another kind of pollution is the acoustic or noise contamination especially in main cities. This has a lot of consequences that we are going to develop on the rest of this text.

Old people always complain about how much pollution are on the air these days and how they need to spend a lot of money on pills for their health, these mainly allergic diseases makes people suffer from their eyes and breathing conducts apart from pain in their heads and tiredness.

Another piece of population that is affected by this consequences are babies specially those who recently stop drinking breast milk. To summarize they can develop diseases that last much more that childhood.

There are other parts of the society that also have trouble with this fact: tourism. Some times of the year we can go up the San Cristobal hill and even in the highest part not see the city because of the grey air that cover it. This causes trouble with the jobs of people that work on that and in tourists that come to see pretty thing and they get disappointed.

Regarding to the causes of pollution we can find that big companies do not always are careful with the environment although the public politic says they must be, and that Santiago is in a hole that keep in pollution and is very difficult that it just get out. Because of those (and obviuosly more) reasons people is being affected and notices pollution.

Living in a remote area can make a person's life rather challenging. There are many reasons for a person who live away from a city or away from central services(supermarket, paying services, hospital, school or works, bank. etc.) have lifes  more difficult than a person who lives closer. For example, to get to school sometimes people walk kilometers in roads who are expose to the changing weather.
Regarding to critical situations, in case of an accident this people has to know how to react and exactly what to do in a short period of time because the time they lose just getting to an hospital can be decisive.  In other words, live in a remote area can be difficult if you are used to live in a city but if you take time to think about times, weather and other factors, you can make it work.

Gender roles

In our society we have a lot of traditions, manners, and expectations, some of them criticized now a days for our (the new) generation. It's true that times are changing but is also true that they change about 20 o 30 years regularly.
As we said before a lot of things are being criticized but I would like to speak of one in particular: gender roles and how they are taught between generations, making them like a nartural orden in human relations.
There are not much information about gender roles in first childhood, this specific point haven't been spoken loudly or studied by a lot of people but that doesn't mean that it is not happening. The generations of this years of primary education in the institution have noticed and started studying this, so too another organizations for the education in the university, but the only "relevant" or recognized published papers or texts that talk about this are a little bit old: from the first ideas of feminism.
This ideas have spoken a lot about gender roles, and a thing I found interesting about this is how we pass this concepts. We can clearly see in first childhood education spaces how the adult world dominate absolutely everything and teaches preconcieved ideas.
That is the place I would like to study: what speeches do we have and why we do not cuestionate them?

last paper

The last paper I read was about evolutionary psychology for Theories of development and learning subject. We did groups this week and every group has to make a presentation of the paper of subject the teacher gave next week.
I haven't finished it but for whar I have read I can say it's a interesting thing, I definitely would read more about it not just because I have to. I think I'll enjoy searching for text and material for the presentation.
This is one of my favourites subjects in the year, I'm lucky that I have the first part on the first semester and that this following subject show us how many things we leanrt in the first part of the year were not so right. That's why I like to read about the content of the subject, because you can find a lot of different theories.
Another subject I loved and I think it deserve another following course is Health and care of the children, it talk about a lot of what really happen on the kindergarden and not just theories. At first I didn't think that this two subjects have much in common but I get surprised.
When I have much to study I usually read on the bus to college, I don't know why that is the place I get more focus than anywhere, so 40 minutes there and it really helps.

English experience

When I get into the university I didn't expect to have english right away, but I think it's a great way to not forget the language even for people who didn't came into the university immediatlely from school. I think that a good way to teach writing is the use of this plataform, and because is a social media and closer to us,to our generation.
I think that I need to improve the way that I speak, I don't think I have a bad english level it's only that I'm too shy to speak loud as my partners. Other thing is that there are some many words that I don't know and the just keep coming, words that maybe in class we don't use too mucho but in life experiences maybe we would. To write this posts is a great way to me because I can put here my confidence in this language. But I know that I can't be shy forever and in real life there are no posts to save me so maybe I just need to stop it and just do it (like nike).
It's a funny thing that besides the english class I'm not too shy to speak the languaje, in fact I teach English in firsts levels of highschool here at the university to people who don't have highschool done yet. So we prepare them to give exams by the end of the year so they can finish highschool. In this proyect I'm not shy as I'm in here and I realy don't know why, in fact I'm not shy at all.
Just for you to know I have always been shy to speak english and I think that the teacher and the class group that I'm in had give me reasons not to be shy, I'll always remember that the first day of the subject I couldn't speak and like 3 classmates look at me weird and told me there's no problem.

preschool education changes

In this career I have different kinds of subjects because we need to know about many different things for work with kids, as their health and development and learning but also we need to know the context we are in so we have history of education and regarding to we study in social ciences we have epistemology and filosofy.
This is just in the first step of the career because other things like put all the behaviors of the kids in paper and study them or learn more about their growing are in another complement subjects.
There is a subject that we are trying to change as a career, all the classmates of this: practice. All the careers have problems in their practices but we do not let this happen in ours because is not difficult to change, or maybe a little. There is a problem with the department of education and mainly is that the don't see us (pre-grade) as important as they see postgrade, and that bother us.
Regarding to the workload is it not to much in my career, it let you time to do all the work for the different subjects and another stuff if you work your time in a usefull way. I think that five years (or maybe more) with this workload is not terrible, it is fun if you like the career.
I like the space we have in the faculty, there is space for every one and a lot of food places and no problem with the fhotocopying. But is a problem to ask for a classroom free.
For the final thing I would like to say that we work by a teaching method that is not the one we are told to use in a ideal of education, all teachers told as that but non of them change it.
I like to be in a career and be really into it, with all the good ideas in my head, but I kwow the world is not like this and this is just a happy adolescent place.

winter holidays

I never know before where I am going to spend those days, but probably I would go to some close beach with some friends. It is the usual thing but it didn't mean I don't love it, I think it is the more fun thing to do.
We always go to "El Quisco" to the house of the grandfather from a  friend from school (who now is in JGM too), he lives alone so he likes when we go there and we make him nice food instead of going to a restaurant.
We also spend a lot of time sleeping and going to the beach  and to the craft fair, and a walk we always do is going to "Isla Negra" to climb the rocks and watch the sea.
If we don't go there I'd probably stay at Santiago and be with my grandparents and friends.
On the other side I was thinking to have a little dog and if I do it, I would need those two weeks for being with it and teach it some thimgs like no eating the thing from my mom. But probably this won't happen because I might have time by holidays but no enough time douring the rest of the year.
In case of non if this happen I would probably sleep one week and the other use it ond my family and friend, read a little and make some sport (this last thing just in case I'm too bored).

dog lover

I don't know if dogs can be more perfect than they are, and I'm talking about all dogs in planet. I really think that humans do not deserve such a good animal. Beside dogs, I like all the other pets and animals, maybe half afraid of some of them like cats, there is a special place for cats in my heart and is not a nice one.
When I was a kid my father tell me the day before a math test if a had a 7 he would give me a dog, I was very bad at that subjet but I did it, I really don't know how. So that is how I fall in love with dogs and I named her Kiara. She was a tiny beagle that spend 3 months on clinic after my parents bought her and we all thought she was going to die, but she didn't and she make me the happier child on earth.
The first big sad experience that I had was when we had to move to an apartment and they take her away and I never saw her again.
When I was like 8 years old I had a classmate that had a hedgedog, and my mother loved it so a few years ago I gave her one, it die so her couple gave her another that she coudn't take care more time so I had to give her away to.
It's a usual thought that you can't pick them up just with your hands or you can't sleep with them but it's a lie because Lulú (the second hedgedog) wasn't nice at all and I did both things with her. It turn out that she loved it because I'm warm so she was always looking for me to sleep.
If I could be an animal I would be a dog, any kind of dog, maybe I would be a Chihuahua or a Poodle because of the size.
By closing this post I would like to say: I get really upset when people love leather shoes and talk bad about people who buy expensive fur coats, it's the same thing! Hate both.

some history time

I always wanted to study history but I have never known where or when, if I want to do it like a career, hobbie or postgrade.
The part that I love of history as a subject is mainly latin american history, or social history of the countries of America in general. I really want to know what has happened between the years and political institutions and how people remaind it. The culture has a reason to be, and I want to know why we are here now and how we get here.
I would like to study history as a career, that last like two years in Universidad de Concepción, in Chile because I feel that being in south of Chile I would be more peacefull because I can make my own space there that need to be between a lot of our history learning our own social fights and that kind of weather and people.
I would like to do it after I end this career so I can be more independent and enjoy better my time there. As I said in the begining, I don't know how to study history because maybe I can do a a shorter program than the career itself and more specific, although I might want to know it all.
Anyway I'm on first year so left four, maybe I change my mind and finally study another stuff or minor.

favourite movies

Maybe I do not like go to the cinema as much as see a movie on my bed, mainly because I can pause it and get some quality food.
 I couldn't define the movies I like in a group, I like Alice in Wonderland as much as Reservoir Dogs (the best movie I have saw in the past months).
If someone ask me if I had a favourite movie I would say it's Trainspotting, a 1996 movie. I couln't say how many times have i seen it but probably around ten times.
It's about the story of a punch of drogadict boys who are into heroin and the things they live between a period of time. They cuestion about friendship, family and legal issues. The main character  it's played by Ewan McGregor, a Star Wars actor.
I like it because the characters see life on a different way, much more fun than "real" perspective could be, they are not good boys and they don't care much about it. Although, they (movie makers) take that topic: Why they have to be like the society want to?
I ceirtainly recommend it to people who have a black sense of humor, or people who think they are having a bad lifetime, it can always be worse.
Another film I love is Reservoir dogs, I like the characters have name of colours and that all of them have guns. I would like to see it again because of my bad bad memory I don't remember much more of the film.

future

Im studying to do pre-school education, so my work it’s very punctual but exists the posibity of working on other areas such as administration or making public politics that you can improve for the kids not only in kindergardens. I’d like to do both of this jobs but first work with the kids mainly because I think you need to have that experience to make bigger ideas for what’s the best for them.

Another fun thing I want to do is travel, not only in Chile, working on different things such as hospitals, offices, centres, and all the different thing you can found for working for kids and family.

The first thing people ask, or even their first reaction when I say I’m studying this carreer is in reference to the money because we didn’t make too much but I really do not care about the money I just need enough for doing my expectation of work.

Other thing I want to do is studying History, I hope in the same time as this carreer so I can have a better reference of the childhood, and because I don’t want to do this my hole life considering the hours of work and the energy you need for being a good professional on this area, besides I’d like to change some things I don’t like mainly on the way this is saw and done by co-workers.

the best concert I ever had

It was the night of 6 of june of last year, and one of my favourites bands on that time was a british and created in te 2000's band called Kaiser Chiefs.
It was on Teatro la Cúpula on Parque O'Higgins, as it's not a famous band they don't even get that space full of people, the ticket wasn't expensive and a company put free beer on the inside.
It was more like a litle concert so I can saw them very close and I really enjoy screaming all the songs.
At the end of the concert I was happier than ever and we sit dawn to breath a little and a guy come and offer us (to me and my boyfriend) the setlist that the singer was standing during the concert, I couldn't belive it or speak so he gave it to us. The only thing he ask was we follow him on Instagram, and I coulnd't belive he gave us the setlist with footprints and all.
My boyfriend gave it to me and I put it on a frame with the ticket. I look it everyday and it makes me happy.
Then we came home and eat and we couldn't speak like for 3 days. This is one of the best memories that I have, was to me a perfect day.
Sadly, time later they make another album who became famous and it's the dead of what they was. So I could say that I was on the last good tour the made (and I have the original setlist with dirt and all).

A book person

When I was a child, before I went to school y loved the books of activities for kindergarden and my gandmother took that fact as a curious one in a 3 years old baby so when I was 4 she theach me how to read. Since that moment I never stopped.
I do not, not even when I was a kid, like science fiction books. But when I had 15 years, in school in english class our teacher make us read a lot of short stories about science fiction, and by the end of the year I didn't hate it as much as before.
I tought that it was because he was a very good teacher so I never read some science fiction since there until this summer that my grandfather bought for himself Farenheit 541 by Ray Bradbury, an author that we read that year.
I have to say that I liked it, but for my surprise it take me more than a month to read I don't know why. The book was about a character who questionate the system, the society and himself. After he was a fireman, but a fireman who burns books and hunt down the people who have books in their houses sometimes killing them. It's not a difficult one to read or analize but definitely talk about interesting things and I would recomment it to anyone who wants a nonconformist story.

revolution, tobacco and sun

Cuba has a history much different that other countries; has a revolution, an history of making tobacco, people with other ways to see the life, a collective memory in politic issues, a beautiful land, a personality and a character so much different than Chile, between other stuff. So ¿Why I would not like to visit Cuba? No reasons.

There's a episode that Cuba has with United States that consist in the encroachment of Bahía Cochinos, even Silvio Rodríguez has a song about it. In Playa Girón several ex cubans trainned by CIA tried to assault it but the "army" of cuba came early so they capture them and private of freedom, days later Cuba give them back for medicine and food for kids calling them "mercenaries for compote". 

I like tellling that story because it kind of resume the relation that Cuba had with USA until the finish of cold war, but there's another history of Cuba more than just USA relation, that is kind of funny, I refer to the times before USA came and Cuba changed his submission of the spanish government, that is not kind of funny to me. 

Besides the warm, the wildlife, the respect they have to his own country the most I would like to know about Cuba is the social history but told by the cubans, by the lady who works in the farmacy, the professor of a school, the students of the university, the old people.

I dreamed of going there before they had a good relation with USA, to see what's left of the revolution, athough I would love to go now.
